Orgin: Born from the same nuclear tests that brought the original Zilla to life, the giant crustacean pursuit pods of mutant giant squid to suck the nutrients from their bodies as food. However when the last remaining spawn of Zilla eliminated the squids after attacking his adopted family, C-Rex came ashore in Jamaica to find a replacement food source. After rampaging through a small seaside village he discovers a new source of energy, highway tar. Biologist Nick Tatopolous and French secret agent Monique Dupre lure the mutation away using the last remaining tar on the back of a truck. The two lure the sea monster back towards the beach only to be trapped by the crustacean. C-Rex gives one loud roar before devouring the two humans, but too his surprise, the puny creatures have a monstrous bodyguard. Zilla charges in and makes battle with C-Rex finishing him off by blowing off his tentacles with his thermonuclear ray after trying to drag him off a tall cliff with him. C-Rex unconscious is then retrieved by G-Force to be taken to the new Sight B of Monster Island where the much newer monsters will be sent for study and live their lives in captivity.
Years later in the year 2006, C-Rex among other mutations such as El Gusano Gigante, The Rat, Cryptocleidus and the newly discovered Giant Bat are freed from the top secret island military base and sent on a rampage in several major cities under the mind control of aliens from a distant galaxy. C-Rex makes his attack on the British capitol of London, destroying Big Ben and London Bridge in his rampage. However after the HEAT Team shut down the Tachyon signals that control the monsters C-Rex makes his way back to the Monster Island Sight B along with the other mutations to battle the alien’s most powerful weapon Cyber-Godzilla. However every mutation fails to defeat the cyborg until Zilla arrives….
In an alternative universe, in the near distant future, C-Rex and many of the other captured mutations of Monster Island sights A and B will be released to battle against the DRAGMA. Genetically created mutations built to be the most powerful living creatures on Earth. With multiplying rapidly the DRAGMA’s slaughtered every monster including C-Rex, but after the HEAT team returns to the past after travelling to the year 2022, they along with the help of Zilla destroy the infant DRAGMA and call in G-Force and the United States Military to arrest Dr. Jonathan Insley, the sole creator of the living Armageddon. As of now, C-Rex is still alive and well, living his life on Monster Island.
